Does verizon charge if i call from one state to another in the U.S?

if i call from california to idaho? or they call to me and have a different network?

Sounds like you're talking about Verizon Wireless and not a landline, if that is so then no they will not charge you long distance. However, keep in mind if your plan has a certain amount of peak minutes per month then you will draw from your peak minutes, unless you call during the nights and weekends hours. Nights start at 9:01pm and end at 5:59am Monday through Friday. Weekends start at 9:01pm Friday and end at 5:59am on Monday morning.

    if a wireless phone then no, but on a landline yes. if anyone calls u on a cellphone it costs the both of u.

    You should only be billed either your regular mintues or free mintues (after 9pm/weekends). No extra charges should appear on your bill.
