Would it work if you put your clothes in the dishwasher?

Dunno, but try this:-

1. Place your clothes in a washing machine.
1a. Climb into the washing machine whilst someone else starts
the machine.
1b. Observe the actions.

2. Put your clothes into a dishwasher.
2b. (As 1a)
2c (As 1b)

3. Observe the difference.

If you find that the dishwasher washes your clothes satisfactorily,
try putting your plates and cups in your pockets next time
you get into the dishwasher.

    sheer guesswork, but I'd think it would get them pretty clean ...
    tho all wrinkly if you don't iron them (whereas most driers
    will get 'perma-prest' stuff at least wearable )


    note: I am NOT an authority on "proper" ...

    and have not ironed a shirt in years (wasted effort IMHO)

    ps: the socks might clog up the plumbing on a
    dishwaher

    Nope- it would be like just rinsing them- they won't get very clean without be beating by the agitator. I even notice washing your clothing by hand remove more dirt then the washing machine- guess great grandmother was right about that!

    They will most likely shrink big time, and wont' get very clean visually. But, it'll be sterilized by the high heat... Besides, do you really want to smell like the dishes and jet dry?

    NO but nice try-- wash them in the bath tub with laundry soap and rinse them then let them air dry. Been in a bind and had to

    I've heard of people putting baseball caps in the dishwasher. I think they make special holders to keep the cap shape.
